Wanna know how I know you're a mom?
If...
1) you can be making breakfast for one child while breastfeeding another.
2) you can change laundry, do your make up, fold a blanket, or cook dinner with one hand.
3) you pee with a baby on your lap; wipe, pants up & all.
4) it takes your kid spitting up on you at least 3 times for you to change your shirt.
5) you pick someone else's boogers regularly.
6) cats are "kitties", dogs are "doggies", birds are "birdies".... And so on.
7) you are more excited about new kids books than your kid is because that means you don't have to read the same ones you've already read 962 times.
8) you come home from the store with something for everyone in your house but yourself.
9) it takes twice as long to get ready, you have to start to leave the house 30 min before you actually need to leave and you're still late.
10) you never have any Spray and Wash.
11) wiping out the same pan you used for eggs yesterday to make eggs today is completely acceptable.
12) you refer to your child's age in weeks or months.
13) there is a package of wipes and a box of toys in every room of your house and each of your cars.
14) you have a snack and a change of clothes with you at all times.
15) you own a Mickey Mouse waffle maker.
16) you haven't had a hot meal in weeks.
17) you are the first one up and the last one to bed.
18) you know that your daughter's left slipper is under the middle cushion of the couch.
19) you have no memory left on your phone.
20) you can poop in 4 minutes flat.
21) Christmas has regained it's magic.
22) your kid is one of the funniest people you know.
23) the most frustrating thing in your life is when you know you're child is tired but won't go to sleep.
24) everyone has a jacket but you.
And lastly...
25) if sometimes minutes seem like hours and hours seem like days but when you really think about it, you would do just about anything to slow down time and keep your child(ren) in the beautiful innocent stage they are in for just a little longer.
So true Brittany. I definitely could relate to all of those at on point or another when my kids were young. Nice Blog :-)
